Partners will be considered Certified Partners after a defined number of their employees successfully achieve cPanel University certifications in the specified certification tier.
Starting July 1st, 2022 through the end of the year, employees will be able to become qualified by completing either the legacy or new requirements. This means that if you are up for renewal soon and have some folks qualified via the legacy requirements, you can mix and match and have the remainder of your employees qualify via the new requirements.
Legacy Requirements
Employees must successfully achieve all three of the following certification tiers:
- cPanel Sales Professional (CPSP)
The cPanel Sales Professional certification track covers the features, benefits, and elemental usage of cPanel & WHM, providing individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively and responsibly sell cPanel & WHM licenses to your customers. - cPanel Professional (CPP)
The cPanel Professional certification track is the first step in building a fundamental understanding of cPanel from an end-user perspective. It is designed to test your knowledge of essential internet technologies and their application through the use of the cPanel interface. - WHM Administrator (CWA)
The WHM Administrator certification track will test knowledge of service administration within a WHM server interface environment, covering web server setup, email troubleshooting, custom DNS configurations, MySQL administration, and more.
New Requirements
Employees must successfully achieve a single certification:
- cPanel Certified Partner Accreditation (CPCP)
This group of exams covers a more technically-focused array of content, targeting more systems administration topics, such as command-line and WHM usage. The course tiers that are covered in the exams are:
- WHM Administrator (CWA)
- cPanel & WHM Systems Administrator I (CWSA-1)
- cPanel & WHM Systems Administrator II (CWSA-2)
Within the CPCP exam course, you will also complete the Ticket Creation Fundamentals module.
